A unified approach for the design and development

of Accenture applications

I initiated and led the design of this comprehensive enterprise design system that was created for Accenture-owned web applications. This established a systematic approach to product development by Accenture teams globally that continues to be used and extended by teams today.

Reinventing last mile parcel delivery for postal companies

The Accenture Logistics Platform is an logistics platform that uses machine learning to help global postal companies offer more flexible and dynamic parcel delivery services by better utilizing existing resources. It started with the question of how might we use the breadth and density of the existing postal delivery networks to offer a courier service that meets customer expectations for fast, affordable and flexible delivery. Piloted with the United States Postal Service.

Translating analog teaching practices into impactful digital learning experiences

HMH Science Dimensions is K–12 digital classroom experience that helps students to learn science through self-directed exploration, analysis, application, and explanation. I led the design for the grade 6-8 segment along with contributing to defining the design system overall. A key challenge was in creating a simple and intuitive system for a diverse set of students and teachers, that would be accessible and performant on a wide range of devices.

Building a flagship product and experience for crafters & makers

I co-led the development of a new product design language for Cricut, a brand at the forefront of the maker movement. The key challenge was to simplify the physical and digital interaction experience so novice users could easily express their creativity. Winner of a 2015 IF Design award.

Rethinking how in-flight entertainment systems are managed and delivered

I led design for Airvod, a startup that built a proprietary in-flight entertainment hardware and software that used tablet technology and over-the-air delivery in an attempt to disrupt incumbents in the airline industry. My role involved leading the design of all physical and digital touch-points for this ambitious startup, along with a small team.
