Orchestrating agentic AI workflows
Led the design of features that help AI builders scaffold and operate agentic pipelines, bringing code‑first and UI workflows together into a cohesive and intuitive experience.

UX / product design leader
I'm a design director at Intercom where I'm building Fin.ai, an AI agent and customer service suite. Before this, I led product design at DataRobot, building the agentic and generative AI workflows for enterprise AI builders. Earlier roles include incubating AI/ML products at Accenture and designing learning experiences at HMH.
Below is a small cross‑section of relevant work that I can share. I'm happy to walk through my process and discuss these examples, get in touch to learn more.

Led the design of features that help AI builders scaffold and operate agentic pipelines, bringing code‑first and UI workflows together into a cohesive and intuitive experience.
Led a major redesign of DataRobot to accommodate new GenAI capabilities, improve usability and increase adoption across core workflows. Read more about the process here.

Design ops, team strategy and coaching a global team of 10 designers and UX researchers across 11 time zones, ensuring they had what they needed to do the best work of their careers.

Initiated and led the design of a global design system used across Accenture web apps, establishing a scalable, systematic foundation still in use today.
The Accenture Logistics Platform used machine learning to help postal companies deliver parcels more efficiently by optimising existing networks. Piloted with the US Postal Service.

From smart home devices to iPad accessories, I've designed award‑winning products for brands like Logitech, Cricut and Panasonic, blending physical and digital design to improve everyday life.
These articles represent my latest thinking on how AI is reshaping how we design, build software and lead teams.

How generative AI is reshaping design and product, with early lessons from DataRobot.
Based in Dublin, Ireland, I have 18+ years of experience designing and scaling digital products, from early‑stage start‑ups to global enterprises. Recent focus areas include:
Intercom 2025 – Present
Design leader building Fin.ai, Intercom's AI agent and customer service suite. I work with product and engineering leads to shape how Fin works, feels and scales across thousands of businesses. The role mixes hands-on design, raising the craft bar, and helping the team move quickly through fast, ambiguous problem spaces. The goal is simple: build an AI agent that delivers fast, accurate support and sets a new standard for how companies talk to their customers.
DataRobot 2022 – 2025
Led product design at DataRobot, the agentic workforce platform that helps enterprise companies develop, deliver, and govern AI agents at scale. I helped define the company's generative and agentic AI experience strategy and built the design foundations for agentic workflows that continue to shape the platform's future.
Accenture 2016 – 2022
As Design Director at The Dock, Accenture's global innovation hub in Dublin, I led product design and strategy for a range of enterprise projects within the New Products and Services group. I co‑led a 20‑person multi‑disciplinary design team, providing design direction for a diverse range of AI‑enabled emerging technology projects.
HMH 2015 – 2016
At HMH, the second‑largest education publisher in the US, I was focused on building digital classroom experiences for teachers and students such as 'Science Dimensions', an interactive K–12 science programme.
Design Partners 2010 – 2014 / 2006 – 2011
Opened the San Francisco branch of this Irish industrial design consultancy, co‑led design, ops and business development, while building a team and working with various Bay Area start‑ups. I also worked with Design Partners in Dublin from 2006 to 2011. That foundation in physical product design still shapes my approach today; grounding work in user needs, the power of prototyping and a deep respect for how things are made.
I have spoken about design, AI and emerging technology at several conferences and am available for speaking engagements. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss.
